If you've been following me for a bit, I'm sure you noticed the amount of times I talk about mozzarella sticks. To put it simply, I love cheese. And fried food. But, more than anything I just really love cheese.
So, when I headed to Zero Zero a few weeks back for a little tasting – well, it was like my dairy prayers had been answered. It was a delicious evening full of cheese (of course), pizza, and pasta.
To back up just a bit, Zero Zero has been around for awhile. In fact, they've been around ever since I moved here six years ago and I distinctly remember the first time I went. I was in love with the no frills food done exceptionally well. And while I say no frills, I mean that in the very best way. From the pizza to the pasta to the desserts, each item has rich flavor without the price tag. Now, that's a plus in my book.
Some highlights of the meal?
- Marinated olives (a must!)
- Baby kale salad
- Spaghettoni Amatriciana
- Margherita di Bufala
YUM! If you haven't had the chance to check it out, please go! It's a total must in my book.
Cheers!
