Hi Everyone!
Happy Wednesday! I post about San Francisco all the time – not surprising, right? Even after 5 years in this city, I'm constantly amazed and excited about all the cool things this city has to offer.
Whatever neighborhood you live in, I promise you that if you look around the corner you'll find a tiny mom & pop restaurant, solid coffee, amazing second-hand boutiques and architectural gems.
This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to play tourist (once again!) in my own city with the help of Verlocal. For some background, Verlocal allows you to find new and exciting experiences in your own city. From glass blowing classes to a thai cooking class, Verlocal offers a ton of experiences unique to your very own city.
So while I love cooking classes and the like, what really caught my eye was the Urban Jungles Urban Hiking Tour. We met bright and early in front of the Castro Theater where we found out the tiles and chandelier are the originals from the 1930's.
We then climbed our way up to Twin Peaks, took a trip down Seward Street Slides and even discover a peaceful eucalyptus forest – all in San Francisco!
After we left the tour, I headed to Dolores Park on an unusually warm and sunny Saturday afternoon and raised a beer to the best city in the world.
Want to have an adventure in your city? Check out Verlocal here!
Cheers!
