Hi Everyone!
Happy Monday! Are you hanging in there? After a challenging week, I needed to let loose this weekend. So naturally, I went out and explored. Saturday morning called for a long run in Golden Gate Park to prep for Sunday's surf session. It was my first time surfing and to be quite honest, I was nervous as all hell. I have zero balance for the record.
We headed out early Sunday to Pacifica, a beautiful beach town 20 minutes away from the city. Oddly enough, getting a wetsuit on was probably the most challenging. I swallowed A LOT of salt water but managed to actually get up on my board and ride a wave!
Afterwards, we brunched at Marla Bakery to eat the most amazing Pecan Sticky Bun I HAVE EVER HAD and then headed to Fort Funston to take in the pretty killer weather SF is having. It was a great way to unwind and well, I can't wait to go surfing again soon.
