Coming out of New York Fashion Week, I'm feeling all sorts of inspired. Some of the collections were E-P-I-C (Oscar de la Renta, Derek Lam, DVF) but even more than the collections on the runway, I started to think about all the local designers and shops in San Francisco that inspire me on a daily basis.
San Francisco is so lucky to be home to some amazing creators, makers, and craftsmen (and women!). In the spirit of showin' love to my city, I thought I'd share 4 boutiques/stores/shops/whatever the hell you wanna call it that have sparked my creativity and love going into.
Iron & Resin
This little hotspot is tucked away on the border of North Beach and the FiDi. Immediately upon walking in, you're struck with some epic and very cool finds. From beachy threads to motorcycle helmets, everything about the store is cooly curated – in a good way.
The General Store
How can you not love the General Store? With two locations in the U.S. (one being SF!), they are a cult favorite housing some local California artisans. If you love Kinfolk magazine, this place is not to miss – it's like stepping into the magazine and being surrounded by ultra beautiful things. Pro tip: Grab some coffee and toast from Trouble Coffee next door and go outside to General Store's patio to nosh.
Le Point
YOU GUYS. This store is the bees knees. From home goods to ultra modern women's clothing, Le Point is where it's at. Located on 14th and Valencia, this store is such a refreshing take on retail. I'm just so smitten with their carefully thought out pieces that make you feel like you're in Copenhagen.
Minted
I've been a fan of Minted for years. Bringing the beauty of Minted online offline has been such a game changer. As someone who loves picking up pieces, looking at them in-person, etc. this store is the perfect place to discover and get inspired. Even better? They have events like live art nights and a stylist bar to help bring your vision to real-life!
