I don’t know about y’all, but over the last year my style has evolved…like a lot. Previously, I gravitated towards darker tones (blacks, deep reds, olive greens, etc), but over the last twelve months, I couldn’t help but snatch up items filled with color, quirkiness and fun.
Maybe it’s the pandemic and my need for desperately adding a bit of lightness and extra joy into my wardrobe (and life tbh).
Whatever it is, I’ve kind of fallen into a weird identity crisis when it comes to my style – and honestly, I don’t think that’s a bad thing.
I think if 2020 (and 2021 so far) has taught us anything, it’s that the world is a wild place and to lean into things that give you joy – or at least a brief escape.
This sweater oozes happiness and when paired with the checkered pants, I’m here for it. It may not make the most sense, but it makes enough of it for me. :)
