Hello friends! It’s been a minute, eh? A LOT has changed since I last posted and I’ve felt hesitant to blog about fashion since it’s been one of the last things on my mind. But alas, I’m adjusting to new normals like working remotely and spending a TON of time at home.
With so much time being spent inside and an increased window of free time, I decided on making a few subtle tweaks to my apartment.
One thing I’ve always wanted to beautify is our entryway. It’s a bit of an awkward space – narrow, small and at times, a bit dark.
But with Spring right around the corner (and seriously nothing to do besides work and read), there seemed to be no better time to give the space a refreshing update.
So, with that being said…I wanted to share a few tips and tricks about ways to enhance your entryway:
Incorporate a little color:
To make things a bit more bright, I wanted to add loads of color to our space. From a bright print to greenery to fluffy throw pillows in different colors (love this one so much!), it definitely adds to the space and breaks up all the neutral tones! Oh! And how forget a beautiful runner that’s durable, hides dirt (yes!) and is cute. I love our hand-knotted wool rug so much!
Bring your space to life with greenery:
Some of the best ways to add a bit of life into a place that is only seen when entering and exiting a space is adding greenery! I love mixing it up with fake and real plants – but I love these faux snake plants! They add a bit of boldness to our entryway and then also make it easy not to water! And, when I’m feeling something fresh – I always change it up with other plants we have around the house! And not to mention, adding cute pots – these concrete pots are unique, too!
Play with mixing fashion and function:
For me, I love when things serve a purpose AND look good. I love this Tiered Trinket Dish that serves as a place to store our keys, some mail and extra cash so we can grab and go! Also, it looks so chic! I also added some gems from my personal collection as well as an extra handy shoe unit like this one that’s big on storage and saves space!
So there you have it! Some easy tips and tricks on ways to spruce up your space that will take your entryway from 0 to 100 in just a few steps. Looking to redo your view? Sprucing up your entryway is a breeze with Wayfair's chic and diverse furniture, art and so much more! Check more out here.
