Happy Monday! Hope y'all had a great weekend. I know I talk a lot about my weekend every Monday, but today I wanted to do things a little differently and talk about an upcoming event.
This Thursday is Taste of the Nation San Francisco. If you didn’t know, Taste of the Nation is a fundraiser dinner hosted by the No Kid Hungry campaign in downtown San Francisco.
Local restaurants, breweries, wineries, mixologists, and chefs come together to help educate and raise money for four local Bay Area nonprofits, including 18 Reasons,Children of Shelters, California Food Policy Advocates, and California Association of Food Banks.
Every $1 raised from the event this Thursday provides the equivalent of 10 meals to kids in the Bay Area and all over the US.

Also, my partner-in-crime Andi and I actually toured a few of the places that are donating their food/drinks this year. Every restaurant on the list is absurdly amazing, but some of my favorites include Tacolicious, The Keystone, Souvla and Lagunitas! Yum!
