Hi. Remember me? Whew. Good.
Okay, now that we got that out of the way…
I took a little bit of time off from the blog because a) the holiday season stress and chaos is no joke and b) I wanted to unplug. Or at least not feel the pressure to constantly post.
And as we mosey on quite nicely into 2019, I want to share a post that was SO fun to shoot. I mentioned this a bit ago, but one neighborhood in San Francisco that I haven’t explored too much of was Chinatown – until recently.
If you haven’t been, I strongly urge you to check it out. And what’s beneath the surface, beyond the beautiful lanterns and buzzing streets is a shit ton of history. Chinatown is one of the oldest in the United States and is home to tons of eateries (hi dim sum!), herb shops, and markets. Oh, and bars.
Fun fact I found while Googling: During the Great Depression, many nightclubs and cocktail bars were started in Chinatown. FYI: Go to Li Po and I promise, you won’t regret it.
ANYWAY, it’s a neighborhood that’s so exciting. Mysterious and full of new-to-me adventures. So, in an effort to explore more and produce better quality content, Kristen and I shot here. And it was so freakin’ fun.
