Jacket: Target | Pants: Levi’s via Rent the Runway (similar here) | Shoes: New Balance x Staud | Beanie: Ganni
I’ve lived in SF for around 10 years (!!) and I feel like I’ve grown accustomed to the climate. It’s usually pretty temperate – bordering on the high 50’s and 60’s for most of the year (with a bit of 70’s thrown into the mix).
But this December has made me realize what a true wuss I am. Right now, as I type this – it’s around 44 degrees and while that may not mean much to many, it’s cold with a capital C for us Californians.
So, when the weather goes buck, what do I end up doing? Making a perfectly sound excuse to buy winter jackets – even if this moment is fleeting (should be back in the high 50’s later next month).
I set out to find a jacket that’s lightweight enough to wear constantly (because 44 degrees does not warrant a true winter jacket), but warm enough to keep me at peace while I go to and fro.
Alas, this neon yellow jacket from Target has been my 98 degrees – my everything – but without the cheesy white tank tops. I’ve worn it with, well…everything. Including these faux leather pants and this Ganni beanie that perfectly hides my unwashed hair. Oh, and top it off with some colorful sneaks from the Staud x New Balance collaboration that tie the lewk togetha!
If I can’t feel the sun – the least I can do is channel it.
