There's something pretty awesome about making shit with your hands. To be completely honest, I do too little of it. Something I'm trying to get better at.
In an effort to improve, I took a woodworking class at Wood Thumb. First off, Wood Thumb was started by two brothers, Christopher and David who just wanted to make beautifully designed products. I think they succeeded.
They have a TON of workshops including making the six pack carrier, cutting boards and the one I did β the triangle shelf! The crew at Wood Thumb are so amazing, friendly and helpful. Even better? They give you a beer to sip on and snacks to nom on.
Definitely would urge y'all to take a class here or a few of my other favorites:
So, if you're ever feeling bored and have the urge to make something, check these places out and support local!
