It's June in San Francisco. If you don't know what that means, please refer to this quote by Mark Twain:
"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
And you guys, Mark Twain (I think) could handle a lot. So, that being said – it's cold here. And sure, you can get sunburnt during the day but once it hits 5 p.m., it's windy, bone chillingly cold and foggy. Romantic you say? Yeah, inside.
Buuuut, being a hermit isn't really my style. So, I gotta stay prepped for the erratic summer weather. If you've read any guides to SF, one of them is BRING LAYERS. This is no joke. Luckily, I've learned better in my six years here. Bring a jacket. Always. I'm lovin' the cozy vibes of this lightweight shirt from Filson that's perfect for sunny days at Duboce. It's fitted and I'm a sucker for plaid. And of course, when the temperature dips, I throw on my appropriately named "Explorer" jacket. This jacket is made for everything, too. Wind, rain, cold – you name it. This jacket should be on your starting line. Even better? It is water-resistant. You know, for all that SF exploring :)
