Hi y'all,
Happy Friday! It's no surprise exercise has been a big part of my life over the past few months. From pilates to yoga, I love having one hour dedicated just. for. me.
And, since I love a challenge, I've been running a lot more. Actually, more than I ever have in my entire life. I've done a few half-marathons and I'll be honest – it took a lot of training. I've learned to LOVE running (no matter the distance) and so when Women's Health approached me about their annual Women's Health RUN 10 FEED 10 race, well...I was 100% IN!
I did the race last year and it was awesome. If you don't know about Women's Health RUN 10 FEED 10, it has raised enough money to provide 3.75 million meals to Americans in need. Currently, 49 million Americans are going hungry – wondering where they will get their next meal. And how they raise these funds? Through a 10k in several cities across the country.
Needless to say, I'm stoked to be able to participate and do my part.
The event in San Francisco is Saturday, October 29th and is going on its fifth year (how crazy!). So, for those of you in the San Francisco Bay Area, join me on October 29th for the RUN10Feed10 race. Better yet? You can get $5 off your registration fee with the code: WHPR5OFF
Who's with me?!
