Hey Everyone!
After 5 years of living in San Francisco, you'd think I've seen and done all there is to do. From braving Pier 39 to finding the quirkiest brunch spot, there's a lot I've done in this city. Yet, through all that exploring, discovering and searching – I'm still surprising myself on all that this city has to offer.
One of my favorite neighborhoods in San Francisco is Hayes Valley. It's a fairly small 'hood, but it's filled with beautiful shops rich in history and flavor. I make it a point to walk through this neighborhood every morning on my way to work because of it's charm. Some of my favorite days include walking to Artis to pick up a specialty coffee, say hello to the pups outside of La Boulangerie, grab a bite at Souvla and end the day with a glass of wine at Fig & Thistle.
As we all know, summer in San Francisco is a bitch. It's hot one minute and foggy as hell the next. And the hills? Don't get me started. Luckily, I found these amazing Dr. Scholl's slip ons that I (literally) haven't taken off since I put my feet in them. Also, I know what you're thinking. Surprised for my love of Dr. Scholl's? They not only feel like pillows but look rad, too.
Now that you have a comfortable pair of shoes, it's time for the outfit. My go-to is an easy and breezy pair of ankle pants fit for any adventure and a loose tank in white to match my shoes. I love the color and fit of these Athleta pants!
So, what's your favorite neighborhood to explore? Share some places - I need to add them to my list!
Cheers!
