Hi Everyone!
Happy Tuesday! Hope you're having a rad week thus far. For the people that know me or have met me in “real life,” y'all know I'm awkward. Not overwhelming awkward, but I appreciate the weird things in life and am always the first for having a good time – even if I look like an absolute fool in the process.
Basically, I don't like to take myself too seriously. And in a city like San Francisco, I feel like more people need to get on board let their inner weirdo out.
That being said, I looooooove posting the outtakes of my photo shoots. Some people think photo shoots happen effortlessly. And for some people? Sure, I think it does. For me? Not so much. Have you ever posed in the mirror? Well, it's kind of like that but instead of posing in the comfort of your own home with no one else around, there's a photographer and more often than not, a shit ton of people around you walking down the street, grabbing coffee, going to lunch, etc.
It's one thing to pose in front of your mirror but in front of other people? SO WEIRD. While I've become somewhat accustomed to people walking past a shoot and looking, I nervous laugh a lot and don't know what to do with my limbs. I don't pretend to be a model – ever. In the words of Miley...”I'm just being Aimee.”
So, shoutout to all the awkward looking, double chin rockin', and mid-laugh photos. They're here to stay.
