Hi Everyone!
As y'all know, I love San Francisco. I really, really do. I was talking to a friend recently about how i'm known for well, bragging about this city. To be honest, I can't help it. It's the most beautiful place i've lived. And it's home. My home.
As I mentioned yesterday, I spent last Friday exploring Bernal Heights. Located at the souther edge of the Mission, Bernal is a world in itself. At the peak of Bernal Heights Hill you feel like you're on top of the world...or at least San Francisco. It's a breathtaking view with or without Karl the Fog.
Once you reach the top of the hill, you can see over Noe Valley, the Mission, China Basin and the downtown skyline. It's a beautiful, special place that makes you feel (on a lucky day) that you're the only one that knows about it.
Some other favorite parks in SF? Billy Goat Hill (tree swing!), Hawk Hill, Tank Hill, Corona Heights (a must see!!) and Mt. Tam (up north). Beautiful places that make you feel, for a minute, that you stumbled upon an untapped city treasure.
Cheers!
