Hi Everyone!

As y'all may have guessed from yesterday's post, I spent my birthday in Sonoma. It was a fairly last minute trip, to be honest. I had hopes of traveling internationally for my birthday, but I made it a point that my 26th year was a year of no BS and no excuses. So, it shall happen...eventually.

That being said, I love Sonoma and this was one of the first trips I've taken where I had no agenda. At all. No other celebrations to be had other than to relax and do the things i've always enjoyed.

With that, i'll share a few of my favorites from this past weekend:

El Dorado Hotel & Kitchen: A boutique hotel that's centrally located on Sonoma Square. Modern and with a touch of whimsy, I loved this place. It was a hop, skip and a jump from the place we went to for dinner and it was one of the best parts of the weekend.

The Girl and the Fig: I've heard SO much about this place and after four years of hearing about it, I finally went! I had the Summer Pea Pasta that was so delicious. The outside seating was beautiful and the staff was wildly friendly. Our waiter even sang to me for my birthday!

Wineries: Started off at Gloria Ferrer for champagne, made a pit stop to St. Francis and then ended the day at B.R. Cohn! Beautiful spots that were charming in their own way. Definitely suggest stopping by those three if you head to Sonoma!

Sonoma Cheese Factory: Great place to stock up for little bites, snacks, and cheese (of course) to take with you to a vineyard! Also, their sammies are delicious. Nom!

Cheers!
