Living in San Francisco, there's no shortage of things to do. From getting a drink at the newest bar to shopping at high-end boutiques, the opportunities to find something that will occupy your time is endless.

But, what about experiences people? It's not just a tangible thing where you can hold it, touch it and keep it forever. What about making memories? I pride myself on telling others what they can experience in this beautiful city, but it wasn't down on paper. Luckily, I found an amazing website called If Only that houses unique and curated experiences in San Francisco – all at the click of a button.

From boat tours around the bay to cookie making, If Only offers a variety of once-in-a-lifetime experiences that make your life (and your sweet tooth) richer!

I recently had the opportunity to take the cookie making workshop hosted by Eloise Lim. For some background, Eloise is the owner of  DeLise Cafe in North Beach and she knows her stuff. I used to work a block away when I first moved to San Francisco, so during warm days I would wander on Bay Street to her little shop to find a midday pick-me-up.

We stepped inside her kitchen and made two delicious desserts that were even easy for me to understand. As someone who doesn't bake or cook on the regular, the opportunity to make shortbread and chocolate chip cookies was pretty special. I even left with the confidence I could make them myself.

From mixing to baking, Eloise taught me and Ittai how to properly scoop dough, her journey as a baker and everything in between.

Not only was this workshop special, but part of the sale went towards The American Red Cross. With all the craziness that happens in the world every day, it felt extra special knowing that If Only gives back too.

I highly encourage checking out the site because what's better than exploring your own city with interesting and cool people?

So if you're looking for unique experiences, check out IfOnly – you get $50 off your first experience purchase using the code ohiotransplant. If you’re an artist/chef/local expert on a cool topic, you should sign up to be an IfOnly luminary…you get to share your knowledge to others, make some extra money and give back to amazing causes!

Cheers!
